“Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered,” Glob said with a grin. “Now slide off your skirt, will you?”
“What?” Agent Katie asked. “Why do I need to…”
“To distract the guards, of course,” he replied. “Nothing like a naked blonde to confuse and distract men.” He said the last part derisively, as he wasn’t included in that category.

It took me a moment of staring at the image to try and decipher what I was seeing. A very hi-tech looking clear cylinder was mounted on a platform, with wires and monitors and hoses around. Something was floating in a liquid inside. My eyes widened. “She’s…alive? In a tube?”
“A stasis chamber, yes. Space travel is hard on human bodies, but it’s also boring and lonely for me. I keep her safe in stasis…along with a few other special friends…when I get lonely or when we get to my home planet, or an exciting new location, I can wake her up and enjoy her…companionship.”

I’m proud to introduce Lisbeth, a wily thief who makes the mistake of trying to steal from a wise old dragon. Her terrifying initial encounter, a collaboration with my friend Saurian-Shade , will evolve into an uneasy detente and cooperation with his OC, Lord Zhain.
Here’s a teaser to whet your appetite…Zhain’s appetite is already whetted.

I stared at the razor-sharp tip of the claw as it hovered above me. My head turned to follow it wherever it went, and my body squirmed in his grip in the opposite direction. After the dragon moved the claw side to side and in a circle above my head, I realized he was playing with me!
He knew I was utterly helpless and vulnerable in his grip, he knew I was frightened, and yet he was playing with me like a cat plays with live prey! He wanted to show me just how small and powerless I was! I shot him an angry look of defiance. I wasn’t some toy for his amusement!
“What do you want from me?” I demanded angrily. The dragon didn’t react as if he understood my words, but my tone must have been clear to him.
He responded by gently placing the tip of his claw onto my sternum and pressing me firmly back into his left palm. He stared me down as he did so, as if to say, “It would take nothing for me to push this right through you.” He didn’t have to say it; I knew it was true.
At the same time, he closed his left hand around me a little tighter, enough for me to cease my squirming. I was utterly motionless now, afraid to even take a breath he might see as resistance.
I tensed as he moved the tip of the claw higher, to my throat. I swallowed hard and waited for a slash that would flay me open like a fish. Instead, with incredible precision, he hooked the claw into the neckline of my black knit shirt…and slowly drew down the center of my torso, slicing open my fitted top without leaving so much as a scratch on my bare flesh.

A new Evie story by KatieD
This is an excerpt; the entire story is here:
NOTE: the other day, the topic of ‘murder hornets’ came up in chat. I had a vision of huge hornets carrying away damsels for nefarious purposes. I wasn’t sure I could make that into a fun or sexy story, but I decided to give it a try. I hope you enjoy the result.
The next time Evie stirred, she was much more careful about revealing that she was awake. This time, she found herself in a much more familiar position: she hung from her wrists pinned directly above her head, her ankles were secured together below her. And, as happened all too often when she awoke like this, she was completely naked.
As occasionally also happened when she awoke like this, she noticed that her skin was coated in a viscous liquid that was dripping down her body. This time, though, the thick liquid was gold in color and quite aromatic. Against her better judgment, she tasted a little of what was drizzled over her lips.
Sweet…aromatic…like nectar…or…oh fork!!
Honey. It was honey. Her entire body was covered in sticky, sweet honey. Or the nectar that would become honey, anyway.
Fork, this was not good…coated in nectar might be fun if she was alone with her partner Will…but not with murderous hornets!
