Another adventure for my character Lysette!
Lysette is cursed to endure peril after peril by the pervy wizard Devirod, only to reappear elsewhere and have to start all over again.
This time, Devirod taunted her, letting her know exactly where he would be–but also warned her that there would be an enormous deadly snake lying in wait. He delighted in describing the mighty serpent, and reminding Lysette just how clever his traps were.
Lysette didn’t hesitate to attempt her revenge on Devirod. Outside the castle in which he’s hiding, she encountered the largest serpent she’s ever seen. Bravely she battled the monster, and beheaded it.
Finally, Lysette gets a win!! She rejoices in her rare triumph with a mighty victory cry while standing over the vanquished snake.
But in the back of her mind, Lysette can’t help thinking that the snake was much smaller than Devirod had described…or that this small win seemed just a bit too easy…
