Recruiting Girls for the Gods

Rithian Girls provide unusual challenges in recruiting sacrifices for The Ancient Ones

Olkoth stared into his flagon of ale and tried to rub the tension headache from his temples.  The bubbles and foam in his ale reminded him of the nebulous primordial realm in which his master resided, and he wished that he was there now, by his masters’ side.  The task his master had given him ages ago was taking all his patience and will to complete.

He looked at the open ledger before him.  Only fifteen names were listed, and he was expected to recruit twenty nubile new followers for his master before he could return to his master’s side.  Even worse, the fifteen he had already sent through to his masters’ realm had all proved rather unworthy.  The next one needed to be special.

Recruiting worthy followers on this world was difficult in the best circumstances.  It was difficult finding young women who were willing to pledge their bodies and souls to an unknown fate with a ruthless deity.  After days of having their flesh violated by monster after horrific monster, those found worthy would spend eternity as the shared concubines of his master and his fellow celestial entities.  Those who were not found worthy–well he didn’t like to think about those.

Things had been different since he had arrived in Rith.  Oh, recruiting was still challenging for him.  It was just challenging in a different way.

He looked up as a perky young blonde slid into the opposite bench of his booth.  She was quite pretty, had a healthy, youthful and athletic body, a lovely smile, and had pale greenish-blue eyes of a color he’d never seen before.  She carried a confidence he’d seen in many Rithian girls.

“Hi!  Are you Olkoth, the recruiter?” she asked, a sparkle in her eyes.

“I am.  What may I do for you?” he replied.  He already knew where this was going.

“I heard about your master, and I think I’d like to be considered to serve him,” she said cheerily.

“I see.  And are you certain that is what you really want–or are you just looking to be fucked by a tentacle monster?”

The pretty blonde looked surprised.  “I…uh…no!  I mean…yes!  I uh…yes, I’m certain.”

“Do tell,” Olkoth sighed wearily.  “Thank you for your interest in my master.  Unfortunately I am unable to extend an offer of enslavement at this time.  Best luck to you in your future servitude.”

He watched as the blonde’s face changed to a disappointed frown, then a frustrated pout.  Then he watched her stomp away rather immaturely.  He sighed again.  Then he pinched the bridge of his nose, closed his eyes, and shook his head.  That was the third one this week.

Olkoth slowly became aware of a change in the atmosphere…and the smell of…strawberries?

He looked up and saw a gorgeous golden-haired woman seated across from him.  Her eyes were of a bright blue he’d only seen in the cosmic flames of the eternal supernova of Nyctelios.  And her sun-kissed flesh was in a shape somewhat fuller and curvier than the last girl.

“Hello,” she said in a calm measured tone.

“You are very stealthy,” he replied.

“It’s my job to be stealthy.  I hear you are a recruiter of sorts.”

The juvenile lust-smitten grin fell away from Olkoth’s features.  “Oh.  Let me guess.  You want to be fucked by a tentacle monster, too.”

“Tentacle monster?” she asked, looking bored.  “Pffft!!  Please.  Been there, done that.”

“Oh?”  Olkoth’s grin was making a resurgence.  “I suppose, then, you’re aware that what you’re inquiring about requires a lifetime of sexual servitude to the Elder Gods?”

The blonde stared at him with those plasma blue eyes for a moment.  “I sense that’s some sort of test?” she asked.  “Because the Elder Gods are a little tame for my tastes.  I’m seeking something a little spicier and more decadent than those benign do-gooders.”

‘Now we’re getting somewhere,’ Olkoth thought.  “You are correct, that was a test.  As you seem to know, I serve one of the Outer Gods, the true Great Old Ones.  And you are also correct, that their tastes do run a little more…’spicy,’ I think you called it?”

“Well, I’m not interested in pledging my body and soul to just any run-of-the-mill deity.”

Olkoth swallowed hard.  Time to close the deal.  “You understand that service comes at a great cost…your flesh is to be offered as tribute for the pleasure of my master–and his peers.”

“I do indeed understand,” she said with a somber nod.  “To fulfill my destiny, I must stand in the presence of your master, and…achieve physical communion with him.”

“I know of none who would survive such a physical interaction,” Olkoth said.  And what a shame to see that incredible body consumed in a flare of brimstone.

“If that is my fate, that I die at the hands of your master, I shall consider it his divine will.”

Olkoth blinked rapidly, his breathing quickening.  “And you should also know, that upon entry to my master’s realm, you must first endure the pantheon of horrors that stand between you and his godly presence?”

“Doing so will put me in the proper state of mind to meet our master.”

Olkoth realized he had found a true believer.  But against his better judgment, he decided to risk the wrath of his master with a selfish ploy to taste this magnificent creature for himself.

“Then of course you also know, I must personally see to your worthiness before I can send you to my master’s realm.”

“I would expect no less,” the woman replied with a level stare.

Olkoth decided to go for broke.  “You would consent to spend several days in servitude to me, collared and shackled, performing many unsavory tasks, satisfying my every desire and whim?”

“I will do all that is commanded of me, and then more, in order to seek your approval.”

“Sign here, please,” Olkoth said quickly, and pushed the ledger across the table with trembling fingers.  His heart raced as he watched her write her name with a flourish.

“Evie,” he read, turning the ledger to face him.  “No last name?”

“None that you need know,” she replied.

“Very well then,” he replied, getting to his feet.  “There is a castle just up the road where we may begin your…indoctrination.  It is small, but the subterranean levels are well appointed.”

“Please lead me,” she replied as she stood beside him.  “I am yours to command.”

“I’ll um…need you to turn and place your hands behind you.  It’s a, uh…symbolic measure that I take you there already bound.”  Willing or not, Olkoth wasn’t letting this one get away.

“I understand,” she replied.  “Oh, and by the way…that wasn’t a ‘no’ on the tentacle monster.”

~~~the end?~~~
