“Why not?” Evie asked. “That goblin nest will still be there tomorrow. Orcs will still be running slave camps. Kobolds will still be nabbing stray huntresses.” She turned toward Kara and gave her a sultry look. “They can all wait and handle us tomorrow.”

“You mean, we can wait and handle them?” Kara said, raising an eyebrow.

“Mmm-hmmm,” Evie murmured. “You heard me right the first time.”

If you’re like me, you can appreciate a lazy Sunday lie-in. 

After a super-productive Saturday, posting a fun story with sexy art from a friend, seeing my daughter kick-ass in soccer, start decorating the house for Halloween, watch my football team crush an opponent, and chill and chat with some friends…I feel like I’m living my best life ever and 2023 is f’n awesome.
