Kara and Evie’s latest adventure started off with the best of intentions, as their adventures usually do.

It began when they stopped off at a crossroads inn after their latest mission. They had made good coin by ridding a valley of a nasty troll, and were taking their time getting home afterward. She had almost forgiven Evie for tricking her into being troll-bait. Almost.
