Agent Katie gets interrupted and arrested mid-wardrobe-change by I-PRUDE troopers.
Perhaps her super-secret mission to Zermatt wasn’t as super-secret as she thought!

Mission after-action report
Agent Katie, Agent of S.P.A.N.K.
Zermatt, Switzerland
The train to Zermatt was very relaxing; I took the ‘scenic route’ from Zurich by way of Lucerne and Interlaken. It was a long ride, but I hung out in the upper level dining car sipping white Chasselas and nibbling on a cheese platter.
I checked into my hotel room with a lovely view of the Matterhorn and watched the last rays of the sun work their way UP the mountainside instead of down – it was a unique experience. Then I checked out the menus for the restaurant and the hotel bar.
I wasn’t due to meet my informant until late the next day, and wouldn’t actually begin my surveillance of the nearby I-PRUDE facility until after dark later that night. I had the night and the next morning to myself.
I decided to head down to the hotel bar and see what was happening down there before getting a table for dinner. I was in the mood for some fondue and sampling some fine Swiss Pinot Noir.
Perhaps I’d meet someone interesting in the bar so I wouldn’t have to eat alone…perhaps a handsome and strapping local Swiss hunk, or maybe I’d even settle for a ski bum, if he was cute enough. If the evening went well, perhaps later he could teach me to yodel, ifyouknowwhatImean…
I slipped out of the short skirt and long, long jacket that was part of my businesswoman cover, but decided to leave my stockings and garters on. The lucky guy I had yet to meet would appreciate them, I thought.
My hotel room door abruptly opened without a knock – I didn’t even hear the buzz of the electronic lock. I came out of the suite’s bedroom to see two I-PRUDE troopers with weapons drawn, blocking my only exit. (I wasn’t jumping off the balcony with only my lingerie on…not again, anyway…).
Resigned to being taken by the troopers, I raised my hands in submission. “How did you guys find me?” I asked. “How did you know I was here?”
The troopers chuckled behind their masks. “Didn’t do your homework on this mission, did you?” one sneered.
“How blonde do you have to be to book a room in the hotel that is the official travel partner of I-PRUDE?” the other laughed. “Like, this is the extended stay residence of visiting associates. There’s even a tunnel connecting the basement of this hotel to our facility.”
“Oh, yeah,” I mumbled glumly. “I was supposed to read the briefing packet on the flight to Zurich…but they serve free mimosas in first class, you see, and one thing led to another…”
“Yeah, yeah,” the first trooper snickered. “You know the drill. Turn and put your hands on the door. Spread ’em.”
As I complied, I muttered: “Really, a pat-down? Like I’m hiding weapons in my lingerie?”
“Good point,” the other trooper murmured. “Better do a full hands-on search just to be safe.” He enthusiastically proceeded to grope and prod me everywhere, just for the sake of thoroughness.
After my hands were restrained behind me with the ominous ZIPPP of the heavy-duty linked zip-ties, each grabbed one of my arms and propelled me in my lingerie and stocking-feet to the door.
“Uh, can’t I cover up a bit? Even just a bathrobe?” I complained as we moved out into the hall.
“Nah.” a trooper countered. “We’d much rather parade you through the lobby and out to the van so that all our visiting comrades can see you like this.”
“What?” I exclaimed. “I thought you said there was a secret tunnel from the basement to your facility here?”
“Oh there is,” the other replied. “But what fun would that be?”
