“I swear, officer, that’s not mine!” Evie insisted. But as Officer Kara drew her arms behind her and began to cuff her wrists, Evie’s whole attitude changed:

KarVie and Friends Midsummer Pool Party (5 images)

What better way to beat the midsummer heat than girlfriends in bikinis playing ‘water sports’ at a friend’s house?

It all started when the girls were sunbathing on lounge chairs and Evie doused them all with ice-cold water from a super-soaker gun. As the others sat up and gasped (and hurriedly put their bikini tops back on), Evie showed them the cooler full of water guns, grinned, and ran to hide. It wasn’t long before it was an all-out watery skirmish. And despite the cold water in the soakers, they all got hot and sweaty – and made their way back to the pool.

Redheaded Haylee and auburn-haired Mylene immersed themselves in the cool water and floated around, while cute brunette Sanaa hung on the side to chat with Kara. Evie wasn’t done with hi-jinks and pranks, though…

Evie scooped Kara up in her arms, threatening to throw her in the pool. “Don’t…don’t you dare!” Kara shrieked.

Telling Evie ‘don’t you dare’ is the same as saying ‘please proceed,’ and Evie tossed Kara backwards into the pool with a playful laugh.

Lots of retaliatory splashing later, Evie joined the others in the pool. After Evie begged Kara for forgiveness, Evie floated gently on her back toward Kara, looking up at her girlfriend with a contented grin.

Kara said all was forgiven…but she had a devilish look in her eyes and a devious grin that promised sweet, sweet revenge…

“You know, Kares,” Evie said with a devilish smirk. “Instead of wieners we should probably be eating fish tacos.”

“Evie!” Kara gasped and smacked her girlfriend on the shoulder. “Hush, that’s so crude! You know, you could just call them ‘hot dogs,’ too.”

“Ehh, where’s the fun in that?” Evie giggled. “Everyone needs to lighten up. LOVE is LOVE and it doesn’t matter if you like tacos or wieners.”

Kara snorted. “Just like, in your case, it doesn’t matter if you like orcs or goblins or demonesses or succubi?”

“EXACTLY!” Evie laughed. “Even monster-love is love.”

“Fair enough. But behave, will you? Not all of our friends get that part.”

“I ALWAYS behave,” Evie said with a pout. “Hey, wanna bet me I can swallow one of those footlong kielbasas whole?”

Kara grimaced and pinched the bridge of her nose. “Eves…”

“Hey, I’m just keeping my skills fresh,” Evie snickered. “For when we leave for Kobold country on Monday.”
