Trapped inside the warm gullet of the creature, Agent Katie and Lexi shared a close embrace. “Lexi, I’m so sorry…” Katie began. “This is all my fault for ruining our holiday together.”
“Yeah, it is,” Lexi laughed, kissing Katie softly. “At least whatever happens to us will happen together. I can’t believe you’ve been alive inside this thing the whole time,” Lexi murmured, clutching her girlfriend’s body to hers. “When it started swallowing me, I thought I was a goner!”
“It’s really not so bad in here,” Agent Katie replied, giving Lexi a soft kiss. “It’s claustrophobic and hard to breathe,” she mused. “And the humidity is going to totally mess up your hair!”
They clutched each other as they felt the entire creature lifting upward. Its body stretched and elongated, constricting around them, squeezing them harder, slippery bodies pressing together. Their legs scissored each other as the creature’s red interior compressed inward upon them.
They began a rhythmic swaying laterally, warm liquid sloshing over them, as oppressive heat took its toll. Before long, both women sagged against each other, drifting into a peaceful fugue.
