Agent Katie and Lexi have arrived for their oceanside vacation.
Unfortunately, Agent Katie tried to mix a little business with their pleasure – and it didn’t go well…

Agent Katie had promised to put her work responsibilities aside and take a much-needed holiday in the sun with Lexi. Her girlfriend was pretty upset to find that Katie had actually brought them to Oval Beach to try and sneak in some investigating.
Oval Beach was where four girls had gone missing, and Agent Katie suspected the sanity-challenged Professor Bakeeney was behind the disappearances. His predilection for pretty girls in skimpy swimwear was a dead giveaway!
Lexi, of course, was hurt and disappointed when she figured it out. To try and pacify her, Katie promised to meet Lexi in a private cabana for a couple pina coladas if she would just let Katie look around for ‘a few more minutes.’
After Lexi arranged the cabana rental and ordered the drinks, she had calmed down considerably. But when the drinks arrived and Katie wasn’t back yet, Lexi began to get impatient again. By the time Lexi finished her pina colada, she had become frustrated. By the time Lexi had also finished Katie’s drink, she was very irritated again.
“Dammit, Katie,” she muttered. “Typical. ‘A few minutes’ turns into hours, and you forget your promises.” She set down the empty glass and marched back down the beach. “I’ll drag you back kicking and screaming if I have to.”
Lexi searched among the dunes, but couldn’t find any sign of her girlfriend, and she couldn’t remember exactly where Katie had been when Lexi stormed off.
In a cut between two sand dunes, Lexi thought she saw footprints that the wind hadn’t yet washed away. Their path turned and crossed itself as it approached an odd reddish item in the sand…but Lexi couldn’t see where the footprints led from there. She walked around the reddish blob, watching for any path leading away – but there was nothing!
“Katie, where the hell are you?” she called out, aggravated and annoyed. “You’re ruining our whole vacation!!!”
