“What’s your favorite part of the 4th, Eves?”
Kara slipped her arm around her girlfriend, then pulled her closer when the boom of a firework startled her. The aerial flares made the girls’ moist skin glisten and gave their eyes a sparkle.
She giggled, looking up at the light display. “Is it the barbecue, going swimming, or maybe just hanging out in our new bikinis?”
“Oh definitely the fireworks,” Evie grinned “You know me, Kares…I’m all about the banging.”
Kara giggled again. “That’s my little sparkler.”She squeezed Evie tighter. “Let’s go make some fireworks of our own.”
