Deena has reached the FINAL TWO in my friend @Dxc2005 ‘s latest melee fighting tournament!
AND I’m partnering with him to write the narration of the play-by-play.

Deena and Camilia wasted no time in celebration. They immediately took a couple steps back and squared their shoulders toward each other.
Breathing heavily, they stared across the small gap at each other, each with a small grin.
They exchanged nods of silent congratulations that their alliance to defeat Esseni had worked, and that each had made it through to the final matchup of the night.
“Quite a mess we’ve made here,” Camilia offered in an attempt to infuse some levity.
“We’ve each done our share,” Deena replied evenly.
“Not sure that’s true,” Camilia shot back. “By my count, I’ve scored more wins to get here than you.”
Deena shrugged. “I prefer quality to quantity. And I’d suggest you’re far more fatigued than I am by now.”
“That matters none, newbie,” Camilia shot back. She motioned toward the laid-out form of Shanna beneath her feet wearing the gold of the reigning champion. “I beat the former champion. The gold is already mine. Beating you to claim it is just a formality.”
“We going to fight at some point?” Deena taunted. “Or are you going to talk me into unconsciousness?”
