2023 is already my BEST YEAR EVER!! (so far)
You’ve seen me post about#GRATITUDE2023, my mantra and commitment to making sure all my watchers, friends and collaborators know just how much I appreciate them and my promise to never take them for granted.
I believe that gratitude given away comes around multiplied, and failure to show gratitude is a sure path to isolation, stagnation, and failure.
The creative energy, enthusiasm and encouragement of all the creative partners in our group and our community fills me with motivation and positive reinforcement every day – even the stressful busy days when I’m not sure I can keep up the pace.
So while this post may read as boastful and self-congratulatory, I assure you, I KNOW that without my collaborators’ support and generosity and contributions, this just wouldn’t happen. This post is co-celebratory!
Here’s why I’m so elated today: we’ve already achieved more in five months of 2023 than in all of 2022 – in terms of Deviations posted, in new watchers, in published works on gumroad and in sales of completed PDFs. There’s plenty of time to double that up before the year ends.
Today is the 106th consecutive day of posting on DA and WP – after a previous high of 34 last year. Again, this wouldn’t be possible without the partnerships and friendships we’ve forged.
Building this streak wasn’t something I set out to do; in fact some days I feel like breaking the streak just to take the pressure off…but I do thrive on a little pressure!
I know at some point the streak will end; summer travel soccer season and ID camps are looming, college recruiting is heating up, my garden needs work, it’s nice enough outside for some long bike rides…
And at my real job, the writing on the wall indicates likely (good) changes that may require more of my time and cut into my creative writing mojo. I’ll let you all know how it turns out.
When the streak does end, I won’t regret it and I won’t beat myself up over it…I’ll just start again!!! Thank you, all of you, my friends, collaborators, watchers and fellow kinksters – for buoying me and giving me reasons to keep creating.
Shout-outs to my creative partners past and present for their unconditional support and encouragement:

If you’re not familiar with their work, PLEASE go check them out and show them love! Thank you for watching, kinksters, and I’ll work even harder to keep posting saucy kinky fun times!
Thank YOU for making 2023 already the best year ever! –katie
Thanks Katie for including me in your honor roll. Even, and especially, if good things at work and with your family prevent you from sharing more kinky-fun times with us.
I like your plan. Set goals. Even if you fall short, just keep going. I had set goals to start posting on my non-kinky Amazon page by the end of February. I fell a few days short, but now I have 6 short stories and a longer work up there. My current goal is to finish my 12-story anthology by the end of May, and I may fall a little short on that one as well, but I intend to make it happen even if a few weeks late.
Love and handcuffs,
Joe
