Dear Diary,

Today the cowpokes from the cattle drive rode into town.  They’d been on the trail for nigh two months now, and they were so filthy and smelly!

This time, there was a lady cowboy in the crew.  She looked me up and down in the same way ol’ Rosie does, like appraisin’ me an’ all.  When I brought her a mug of ale, she asked where the baths were.

When I told her and pointed the way, she grabbed my arm an’ said, “no, I want you t’ show me…I’ll be needing you t’ wash my backside…and certain parts o’ my frontside, if you know what I mean, girl.”

I was so shocked I spilled some of her mug when I grabbed my arm away.  She got all mad and such, and demanded to speak to Mr. McIan about me.

Well, Mr. McIan warn’t none too happy about me refusin’ a customer request and spillin’ beer on ‘er, so he tole everyone he was going to let the lady cowpoke make an example outta me.

I musta hung from the front of the saloon for a couple hours afore it turned dark.  Then’s when ol’ Deytun and his gal Synthia came strolling up the way and walked right beneath me, looking right up betwixt my legs!

“Evenin’ Miss Callie,” Deytun said with a grin, an’ tipped his hat to me all proper like.

His gal Synthia gave me a wink and blew me a kiss.  “Hello again, sweet thing.”

I of course couldn’t speak none, but didn’t want to be rude, so I ‘mmmphed’ just to be polite like.

Mister Deytun and his gal made me shiver the hungry way they looked at me.  I still remember the way Miss Syn was nibblin’ on my neck an’ got me so hot and bothered.

Well, ol’ Deytun did some conversin’ with Mr. McIan, and Shane said they could take me down and take me with them when they went home for the night…

An’ what happened then??

Well, I’ll have to tell you in another entry, dearest Diary…
